Hawks Lose Tough Match to MBA

The Harding Hawk varsity wrestlers took to the mats for their second dual meet of the 2021 season on Thursday. Montgomery Bell Academy came out on top winning all but one match, but several Harding wrestlers made significant improvements from match one to match two. Jacob Johnson '24 came out victorious with a pin in one of his exhibition matches. Grant Song '23 went toe to toe with a much more experienced wrestler and had the match at 4-4 in the second period before ultimately running out of steam. Several Harding wrestlers faced their first competition of the year and gained valuable experience.

Next week, Harding will begin three straight weeks of two duals per week. Harding will host FRA on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 4:30pm and Brentwood Academy on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 4:30pm in the Roberts Gymnasium. Go Hawks!!
