Hawks Open With Victory over Pope Prep

The Harding Academy varsity wrestling team opened with a 48-23 win over visiting Pope Prep on Thursday, Oct. 21. The Hawks team is composed of many first year wrestlers who all came out with a lot energy and aggressiveness. Carter Billings '24 led the way with 2 victories, one in the varsity match and one exhibition. Also winning matches for Harding were RJ Perkins '22, Quinn Taylor '23, Matthew Johnson '24 and Luke Anderson '24. 

The Hawks will be back in action next Thursday, October 28 when they travel to MBA for a 4:30pm dual. Go Hawks!!
