Hawks Give BA a Tough Match

The Harding Academy varsity wrestling team held a 27-24 advantage through the first 9 matches of the dual meet, but having to forfeit two of the last four weights proved too much to overcome as they fell to Brentwood Academy, 48-27. In matches contested, Harding won 5 matches to BA's 6. Winning individual matches for the Hawks were Luke Anderson '24, Cian Corby '24, Grant Song '23, Quinn Taylor '23, and RJ Perkins '22. Perkins remained undefeated and has won all his matches by a first period pin. 

There are two weeks left of the regular season as the team builds towards the HVAC Tournament on November 20. Next week the Hawks host Grace Christian Academy on Tuesday, Nov. 9 and travel to Nashville Christian on Thursday, November 11. Go Hawks!!
